Getting started with Bize Accounting is straightforward. Here's what to expect.
Step 1: Reach Out
Contact us by phone at (888) 891-2998 or through our website. Let us know what services you're interested in — tax filing, bookkeeping, payroll, or a combination.
Step 2: Initial Consultation
We'll schedule a brief consultation (in person or virtual) to understand your situation. This is a chance for us to learn about your business or personal tax needs, and for you to ask any questions.
Step 3: What to Bring
For your first meeting, it helps to have the following ready: previous year's tax returns (personal or corporate), recent financial statements or bookkeeping records, notices of assessment from CRA or IRS, business registration documents (if applicable), details on income sources, investments, and deductions, and any questions or concerns you want to discuss.
Don't worry if you don't have everything — we'll help you figure out what's needed.
Step 4: Engagement & Onboarding
Once we agree on scope and services, we'll set you up in our system, arrange access to your bookkeeping software if needed, and get to work. For ongoing services like bookkeeping and payroll, we'll establish a regular cadence that works for you.
